Saint Helena and Ascension 5 & 10 pence 2015 - Magnetic core
These two 2015 denominations from Saint Helena and Ascension have a magnetic core, they are probably CuNi plated steel:
A few years ago, I found a St Helena round pound in my change. I can't remember which date. That's the only one. Gibraltar and Channel Islands coins turn up far more frequently. I once - but only once - got a Falklands pound.
How often does one find in their change coins from the UK's South Atlantic territories?
