Three new bimetallic commemoratives:
"Ernest Shackleton - 100 years of polar exploration"
To mark 100 years since the famous British Antarctic explorer Sir Ernest Shackleton set out on his final expedition, these £2 coins have been issued by Jersey. Eeach coin represents one of the voyages led by Shackleton: the Nimrod Expedition, the Imperial Trans-Antarctic Expedition, and the Shackleton-Rowett Expedition.
